GAEA

Gliding arms of modern clocks Passing by, as man marches on. Reaching out in a desperate thirst, that Jewels and power can quench alone. Like a deep fault, they had burrowed into Her Slashing their ways through vines and trees. Feeding on witnesses, and camping nearby And, shamelessly, called it Home. Like a cancer, the thirst grew to lust Until it had to be fought and conquered for; Chasing the crown over a burning Earth Ashes rose, a remembrance of the cost. She had been asleep for far too long,  Until the tremors awoke her from dormancy. The prophesized time has come She decided, and opened her celestic eyes. The gliding arms of clocks now stopped Even Chronos stepped aside in fright! The Earth split in two and from within rose Mother Gaea from slumber, in all her might.
